Rug
Define your space with area rugs and carpets from Galeria Furniture & Mattress in Joliet, IL. An area rug is one of the most effective tools in home design — it anchors furniture, defines zones in open floor plans, adds warmth to hard floors, and brings color and texture to any room. Our rug collection includes options for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, entryways, and outdoor spaces in a wide range of sizes, patterns, and materials. Choose from traditional, modern, geometric, floral, and solid designs in wool, cotton, polypropylene, and jute materials. When sizing a rug, a good rule of thumb is to choose one large enough that the front legs of your main furniture pieces sit on it. For dining rooms, the rug should extend at least two feet beyond the table on all sides to accommodate chairs. Our team can help you choose the right size and style. Browse online or visit our showroom in Joliet. Financing options available.

Rug — Frequently Asked Questions
What rug brands does Galeria Furniture & Mattress (Joliet, IL) carry?
Our Rug selection includes Ashley Furniture, chosen for a balance of quality, comfort, and value. Browse the collection to compare styles and finishes side by side.
How do I choose the right rug?
Measure the room and your furniture layout so the rug is sized right — ideally the front legs of your seating rest on it. Then choose a pile height and material suited to the traffic and whether kids or pets use the space. Want a second opinion? Just contact us.
Do you deliver rug items?
Yes. We deliver throughout our local service area and, in most cases, will bring your rug inside and place it where you want it. See our shipping & delivery policy for timelines, or contact us for a quote and an estimated delivery window.
Can I finance a rug?
Yes. We offer financing options on qualifying purchases, often with promotional low- or no-interest plans. Ask us about prequalifying so you can shop with a budget in mind.
Does my rug come with a warranty?
Most pieces are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which typically protects against defects in materials and workmanship for a period that varies by brand and product. Keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase, and contact us if you ever need to file a claim — we'll help you work with the manufacturer.
What if my rug arrives damaged?
Inspect it at delivery, and if anything isn't right, note it on the paperwork, snap a few photos, and contact us immediately. We'll coordinate a repair, replacement part, or return under our return policy.
